- Our gerbil, Armand, loves pumkin seeds, but we don't like to give him salted ones. The ones from the grocery store are always salted when they have them, and washing the salt off is a pain. This fit the bill, are a lot less hassle, and the gerbil loves them. We were out, the grocery store stopped carrying them, but now domestic peace is restored.
